Our sign-up procedure is easy, and requires a federal and/or state tax ID number.
We offer discounts on any size order, with five copies earning a 46% discount! You will receive
regular notification about seasonal sales and earn co-op credit with every purchase.
As an imprint of Llewellyn Publications, Flux products may also be combined with Llewellyn products to
qualify for larger discounts.

You may choose one of these additional discount options for your order (Canadian orders excluded)
Pre-Pub Option
Earn an extra 5% discount on all pre-publication orders of 4 or more copies of
a single title, shipping charged. Offer expires on first day of month prior to release month.
Case Lot Option
Earn an extra 5% discount on all orders for case lot quantities of a single title,
single destination, shipping charged. To receive the Case Lot order discount, all titles on the order must
be in case lot quantities. You may authorize Flux to always round-up to the nearest full case lot.
Transportation Options
Free shipping for all pre-paid orders using a check or money order
within the contiguous USA. This does not apply to orders using the pre-pub or case lot option, stop plan
orders, or credit card orders. New customers need approval to pay with a company check or personal check.
Backorder Policy
Backorders are accumulated for up to 6 months or until we can ship at least 4
copies assorted, relevant to the dates titles become available to ship. You must specify if you need different
provisions.
Stop Plan
Single Title Order Plan orders receive 40% discount and a shipping charge of $2.95.
Orders must be pre-paid.
Payment Terms
Net 30 days for established, credit approved customers. We no longer offer 2% discounts for payments
within 10 days.
Accounts that are past due are put on Credit Hold--no further shipments will be made until the account is
cleared and credit is reinstated.
Flux does not accept starter checks or counter checks. Name and address information along with
check number must be pre-printed on the check.
Returns Privilege may be revoked for accounts past due. Regardless, Flux retains a prior
claim against all creditors on all merchandise that has not been paid for and may demand its return
in saleable condition shipping free. Returns in non-saleable condition will not be credited. We reserve
the right to average your discount for calculating the value of your returns.
Credit-Held orders will lose special sale discounts!
No new orders will be filled for customers whose accounts are 60 days past due date.
New customers have three payment options:
- Apply for Net 30 terms
- Send Money Order prior to shipment to receive free shipping
- Pay by credit card
* New customers need approval to write company/personal checks
To open a credit account, provide Flux with the following:
- Signed credit application
- Three trade references (currently active)
- Name and address of bank holding your business accounts
- Name and address of store owner or, in cases of corporate ownership, provide the names of
those stockholders controlling more than 30% of the company's stock
If you currently have an account with Llewellyn Publications, please use this account as your Flux account as well.
Pro forma invoices will be sent on request. Shipping will be charged on pro formas
(as opposed to free shipping on CWOs). Canadian orders excluded.
Returns
- Overstocks must be returned to Flux within 12 months of invoice date to receive credit.
- All books must be in undamaged, saleable condition upon receipt at Flux in order to receive
credit; books received damaged, not in saleable condition, may not qualify for credit.
- All returned goods must have been purchased from Flux directly, according to our records.
- Credit for returns will be calculated at 50% of list price on all books. Customers with large
quantity purchases will be subject to special discount averaging on returns.
- Your return credit will be applied to your account against future purchases or any previous
balance and may not be refunded in cash or other remuneration.
- Send returns to Flux Returns, 2143 Wooddale Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125-2989; specify what
is being returned, reason for return, and the name and address of who is sending the returns.
- Do not include correspondences such as payments, order, or other important communications with
your returns.
- Claims on goods that you receive from us damaged or as short shipments, must be made within
10 days of receipt.
- Claims on such defects as misprints, missing pages, and pages out of alignment must be made
within 180 days of invoice date. You will be credited with return postage on defective merchandise.
- Out of Print titles may be returned to Flux for full credit up to 12 months after being declared OP.
